We started from a tester's complaint: vendor sheets arrive, and there is nothing cheap to check them against.
LinksVerifier research team ·
What we built
LinksVerifier is a REST API plus a free online explorer for backlinks, referring domains, anchor text, top pages and a 0–100 domain rating. Responses are JSON. Nothing more exotic than that.
The data comes from our own crawler and our own index: 181,132,097 domains, 2,774,625,913 domain-to-domain links and about 798.5 billion backlinks. It refreshes roughly once a month, so recent links may be missing, and we say so wherever it matters.

Where the data stops
A monthly snapshot is old news. It cannot tell you what happened yesterday. It will show you which domains link to which, how large the referring set is and how the rating moves between refreshes. It will not show you a live HTTP response.
We also do not offer keyword volumes, rank tracking or a daily crawl. Teams that need those pair us with Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz or Majestic and use each for what it does best.
The rating formula is public, round(100 · log(ref_domains+1) / log(2·10^7)), on a log scale. Publishing it means any dispute about a number can be settled with a calculator.
How pricing works
Credit is prepaid. One credit is $0.0001, so calls start at $0.10 per 1,000. No subscription, no monthly minimum. Simple.
Sign-in is by Google account. New accounts get $100 in credit, which is 1,000,000 credits, and no card is needed. Later top-ups are paid in USDT (TRC-20) from the account page.
Free actions are domain, overview, stats and suggest. No key. Rating checks for up to 2,000 domains per call cost 1 credit. The full table sits on the re-check cost page.
Why a tester wrote the pages
Most link content is written for the person selling the links. These pages are written for the person who has to sign off the invoice. Different reader, different tone.
That is why the site is built around tests, not promises: a glossary with a test per term, myths with reproduction steps, mistakes written as bug reports, and a runbook that stops at each step if the evidence says so.
Know the limit. It is that no index, ours or anyone else's, sees every link. When three independent sources agree a link is absent, believe them. When one source lags, wait for the next refresh and write down the date you checked.
Who it is for
Agencies, in-house SEO teams and freelancers who buy placements and then have to prove they exist. Buying is the easy half. Verifying is the half nobody schedules.
If you need keyword research, rank tracking or a daily-fresh crawl, Ahrefs or Semrush are the fuller products, and we say so on the cost page. We sell link data at a low per-call price.
